Creating an Account

1.  If you’d like to create a Discord account and start using the app, you can download Discord via your mobile device:  

•        For Android devices, head into the Play Store 

•        For iOS, head into the App Store  

2.  Once the app is fully installed, tap on the app icon to launch the app.  

3. If this is your first Discord use, press Register to create your account. You’ll need to enter:

  • a display name
  • a username
  • your email address or phone number
  • a password

4. After entering this account information, select Next to start using Discord.

Remember to head into your email to verify your email address. By verifying your email address, you can recover your account if you forget your password. If your new account is not verified, your username will be given a random 5 digits to the end of your username 7 days after account creation.

Setting up an Account

  1. To set up your account, tap your profile icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
  2. Tap the cogwheel in the upper right corner.
  3. This will take you to your Settings, where you can select various options to personalize your account.
